Just wanted to get an opinion from the forum on what sport you feel you over the course of your wagering career you've had the most sucess at? Basically what sport do you feel you do best in.
I've seen many people asking who to follow,whos good in what and so on. This isnt a thread to brag or show records its just to let people know generally what sport overall in the long haul you have done the best in.


My favorite sport and most successful is NCAA hoops and specifically the MAAC. You typically you wont see a rating by my selections just simple picks. But if you were curious as to what games I am more confident on its MAAC hoops over the long haul.

I couldn't agree more about the MAAC. About 3-4 years ago I started following Manhattan and they won me a ton of money. I think it was Louis Flores freshman year. Still I'm relutant to bet on a sport where a majority of the teams only try in the 4th quarter.

I would have to say the most sucess I've acheived is in the NFL. Even as a young child I would win the majority of my bets, even though they were only $5.50 two teamers. My father couldn't who often I would win. Even now as a college grad and again current student, I can still find it fairly easy to have a good day on Sundays.

10Dime, actually in hoops and college foots I am a follower, except when it comes to the big ten. I can generally. get a handle on that conference in conference play. Other wise I would have to say for sure the NFL IS MY BEST CHANCE as a bettor and picking winners.Always have done well in NFL, AND what I mean by that is right around 56 to 60% which I would take year in and year out. I donot start to make some of my own picks in COLLEGE hoops tell into the season, same with NBA.

College hoops and foots are my favs, with emphasis on the MVC, MAC, and BIG 10, mostly Illinois teams...my wife was a grad of NIU, and my daughter is currently going to BradleyU, so I follow those teams pretty close...A prety good thread, and GL today

I would have to say my top sports are MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA Hoops, NCAA Football, CFL, and NHL. I'm not that good at Soccer.


No, honestly, I'd say my best sports are NCAA Hoops and probably MLB.

I do pretty good in all sports though. I don't take NHL at all.

Unlike college hoops there's only a few games every night. It's not as time consuming to cap the games.

This past season was my first playing MLB. The 3 Wisemen and I did very well. We are eager for the start of the 2005 season.

NFL is where I have done my best. With fewer teams to follow, and less games than any other professional sport, it is easier to follow and keep track of.

Wagering

Strictly recreational not enough time in a day for any more than that. Feel best chances of winning are in cfb/cbb and are the most interesting to watch. The difference being players who want to make the big money versus the ones that already do. Just feel @ the college level there is more motivation on a consistent basis by the players. Too often in pro sports you need to just turn on for the 4th quarter to watch. I could watch most college sports everyday of the week in most cases but the pros are a different story. I wish all pro sports were like golf!!! Only paid for how you finish! There needs to be more motivation for a player of a team sport to make sure that our hard earned cash is being represented according to effort. This maybe sellfish or only in a perfect world, but I can dream!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Baby needs new shoes!!!!!! GL hc

I am a huge fan of MLB. I usually know when a team will get hot or when they are in for a tough time. I follow the pitchers of the teams mostly. That will always be the true factor for MLB. I know that I was atleat over 60% last season. Atleast thats what I saw in my account. I will start posting those plays when it comes time to. But back to your answer I would have to say SOCCER is my best sport. naaa not really its baseball

I suck at all sports. But the one I suck the least at is College Football.

My absolute favorite sport to bet on is the horses. Thoroughbreds only.
Aclose second is small conference College Baskets. I'm by no means profficient at it, but I do like them the best.
With that said I'd bet on Monkey Fucking a football it doesn't matter much to me.
