Tonight the New York Knicks will play the New Orleans Hornets at the New Orleans Arena, New Orleans, La at 8pm.
The Hornets are a very poor 1-15. The lone win coming on a 1 point win in Utah on November 22. Since then they have lost 7 in a row, but the last outing at Houston did show some promise.
The Knicks, on the other hand have dropped 3 of the last 4, starting with an 90-82 home win over Memphis on no rest in an overnighter from Atlanta, then on 1 days rest, they lost to Orlando 104-98 at home, then playing another overnighter at Charlotte lost 107-101, which was the fourth game in 5 days. Then they got 2 days rest traveling to Memphis, for a dismal 96-88 loss. From there they overnighted to the game tonight at New Orleans. This team is showing signs of weariness, in my opinion.
New Orleans has not won a game at home yet this season. They are far from great, but the odds makers have posted them as a 4-5' point underdog tonight. This is an excellent chance to break the ice , so to speak, and I do believe they have a good chance to win this game
New Orleans comes in to the game on an overnight trip from Houston, but had only played 4 gamees in 9 nights. My play is 3 units on the Hornets + the points and another 3 units on the Hornets outright at +225.
