don't see anyone taking out the eagles in the NFC, if you think about it. Unless they kill themselves with turnovers no team is even in the same league as the birds right now in the NFC.
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning , that's as good as they're going to feel all day. " Frank Sinatra'' Also know as (the dago) by his close freinds .
Nobody is going to be able to win IN Philadelphia, not from the NFC, no chance. I think the Eagles will get to the Super Bowl and either A) Lose to New England, B) Lose to Indianapolis or C) Beat Pittsburgh.
But whatever I like usually bombs, so I am sure Pittsburgh will win the Super Bowl!
The NFC is very weak. It's looking pretty good they'll have home field.
IMO the only NFC team that can beat them is Carolina. If they get healthy and If they can squeek into the playoffs. They are very well coached. Saturday Dec 18 will be a good indication. They play in Atlanta
Shorty I think you would make more money betting the money line twice on the two playoff games.at worst break even, plus you dont have your money tied up for 5 weeks and dont have to risk injury, ect.if you bet game 1,if they are say -430 in that game which i dont think they will be cause that a 9 point favorite and its the playoffs.,that means they could be -530 in game 2 to break even which they wont be.
The best way to evaluate a future wager is to do the math. For Philadelphia to get to the Super Bowl, they would have to win two playoff games, both at home (assuming Atlanta doesn't catch them for home field which is highly unlikely). Philly would probably be about a -9 favorite in its first game and -7 1/2 or -8 in the second. This would put their money line in each game around -450 to -550. As such, -215 to win both games is a good wager ---but only barely---as it beats the parlay payoff if you bet both games at the money line. For instance, if two games are at -500 on the money line and you made a $500 wager on the first game and let it ride on the second game, you would profit $220 (winning $100 on the first game and $120 on the second game). This equates to a money line of -227. If you like the Eagles and can get -175, that's a very good deal.
