  • unbelievable...missed review up in the booth!?

That play would have been overruled. I've seen "force out" plays challenged and reviewed more than once. Regardless of wheater it would have been overturned or not, is the reason for the review. At least review the play, then make the decision.

This hurt me on my minus seven play, but I also had Seattle for the Second Half and all they had to do was win the game by two or more. But forget all of this. That's not the reason we lost. It's the God Damn prevent defense and the dumb coaches who use it. I saw it comming and all I could do was yell at my TV set.

unbelievable...missed review up in the booth!?

    Unbelievable...

Seattle up 39-29 late in the 4th QTR, Vinny throws a bomb to the back of the endzone, Keyshawn comes down with it and his elbow lands out of bounds...they rule it a TD.

HOW CAN YOU NOT TAKE THE TIME TO REVIEW THAT TOUCHDOWN UP IN THE BOOTH??? IT COSTS SEATTLE NOTHING TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT and they BLEW IT! It really puzzles me how Seattle can let up that TD without taking a review. :angryfire That TD costed me.

It is bullshit but not Seattle's fault. It was inside the last two minutes so the coaches can not challenge. It is left up to the "review officials" in the booth. What are they getting paid for when they miss acall like that? It cost me straight up and a teaser. BULLSHIT

First, Seattle can't ask for a review of that call. It's inside 2 minutes. The review has to come directly from the review booth.

Second, it would not have been over-ruled. Johnson was clearly forced out from the momentum of the defensive back. Johnson was coming straight down.

Frank, I agree with you he was forced out of bounds but that particular play will be reviewed 9 out of 10 times ... Why it was not last night I have no idea .. I had Dallas so I was on the other side but when I saw it I thought for sure they were going to at least view it ... Good Luck guys and stay tough

            Just a note

That play actually "would" have been overturned if the replay officials would have looked at it. A forceout has to be singnaled on the field first, otherwise it has no bearing in a replay situation. But it has to be called on the field to begin with, therefore if it had gone to replay they could not have used that reasoning.

Just saw the thread and thought I might contribute.

The report by the Ref's after the game was that it was a judgement call and NOT reviewable. The Ref felt that he was pushed out of bounds and had he not been pushed he would have gotten both feet down in bounds before any other part of his body hit out of bounds.

Don't blame the Ref's blame Seattle, Didn't they learn anything from that Ram game.
