Friday in their last home game of the season. Iona has now won two straight
and four of its last five games overall to put the team in second place in the
MAAC at 10-5. The Gaels are a solid 15-9 overall and will try to improve on
their 3-6 road record tonight. As for Marist, it also defeated St. Peter's
91-86, in its last game on Monday, which snapped a brief two-game slide. The
Red Foxes are still a disappointing 10-14 overall and 6-9 in conference, which
puts them in seventh place in the MAAC. Iona leads the all-time series with
Marist, 24-6, including an 88-74 victory over the Red Foxes earlier this
season.
