Ohio U was last D-I team to play game when they beat San Francisco in opener; they lost in overtime at Butler last year, 64-63. Butler is 3-0, 15-5 in their last twenty games since 4-9 start last year, but this is their first road game.
-- St Peter's beat Loyola twice last year, by 14,15 points; Greyhounds are 0-4 after being 1-27 last year, but they lost by 3 to Delaware in last game; their road losses are by 23 at Va Tech, 36 at Pitt. Peacocks won only home game by 17 over Lafayette.
-- Fordham and Iona split their last six games, with Iona winning last two, by 8,3 points. Gaels are not very reliable when laying 10+ points, but Rams are 1-2 this year, with losses by 15,16 points. Iona's conference opener is Sunday vs Rider.
-- Chattanooga lost its only road game by 17 at Ohio State, 84-67; they have two starters back from 19-11 team, and a new coach. Virginia Tech, now an ACC member, is 3-0, with wins by 23-52-17 vs cupcakes.
-- Mississippi State beat South Alabama the last three years by 7,9,11 points; USA is struggling this season, having lost last game to Alabama State Tuesday night, 63-61. State may be looking ahead to weekend date with Arizona out in Anaheim, however.
