10* alert ....NFL GOY

as you all know, i rarely post an nfl, nba, or mlb pay, maybe 1-5 all year in each sport and this is the first nfl play::

I wish i knew my GOY record in all sports, but i would be suprised if it were worse than 75%-80%, maybe BC can produce it

10* GOY Jacksonville (+3) vs. Pittsburgh---->I do not think there has ever been a team in the history of the NFL who has been in more good spots than pittsburgh.......every single week, pittsburgh is either playing someone who is at a low point of the season, or playing a team that is in a terrible spot, new england without dillon and (first week without ) law, philly while undefeated, etc. etc........FINALLY they play a team that matches up with them perfectly and it is a perfect spot........jax gets beat by teams who are very good at the skill positions, like indy, san diego, tenn, and minny.......neither pittsburgh's offensive line nor defensive line will dominate jacksonville and jacksonville absolutely owns pittsburgh in jacksonville......leftwich is back, taylor is as good as he has been in a while, their d is excellent, and aside from tennessee who has probably never lost in jax, their other home loss was a very tight game to an indy team much more skilled than overrated pittsburgh who will lose this game outright..........i myself am playing it on the money line but do what you will

we all know there are many many nfl cappers better than i, but unless pittsburgh goes +2 in turnover ratio, they are going to get beat here

not to be negative about your game of the year, but here is my 2 cents on this game. Pittsburgh is a VERY good team this year, they also continue to cover the spread every single week. Jacksonville has a good team, but Leftwich is still not 100%. The Steelers lead the league in Sacks and will be blitzing him from every angle possible. Jax offensive line is not that good, and with an 80% QB, they will be in some trouble with that zone blitz that the Steelers have mastered.

Also, Big Ben's passing game is always better with warmer weather, which it will be on Sunday.

i always respect others opinions on my posts, but for me, it is rare i ever feel this strong on any professional game........

jax is 6-2 lifetime here against pittsburgh and that includes when jax was an expansion team.........jax is a better than average team, probably not a playoff team but nobody has been able to run on jax with any success ......... throw out all history against tennessee who owns jax in jax but pittsburgh is not nearly good enough to go 15-1, probably not even 14-2 and when you look at their schedule, this sticks out much more than did the at cleveland or at cincinnati games as a losable game........i have taken pittsburgh their last 3 on the road and been successful, but jax will not be punched in face by a steelers team that will NOT run for 100 yards total on sunday night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

burress is big ben's favorite wr and rasheen mathis is quietly one of the better corners in the game that should play ward well......

i could go on, and we have respectfully disagreed before........luckily, we both know enough about this whole gambling thing to know that when the game is over, we willstill be able to feel our families the next day, may cost me a dime, but that is life ...good luck bro

Let me say a few more things. #1 Staley will be back in the lineup and with him healthy and having the Bus to come in fresh for parts of the 3rd or 4th quarter, there's no way Jax holds them under 100 yards on the ground. I mean the Bus did it by himself for 4 straight games, against really good defenses. New England, Philly, Clev., Cinci. They will do it again and Staley is itchin to get back on the field.

Another thing, I'm not sure Burress is even playing. He hurt his hammy 2 weeks ago. The line is only 3, that's because this WILL be a close game, but I do not see Jax winning or covering this one.

GL as always though, as I'm sure you'll have alot on it.

I think the free ride on vegas end this week. I love this game also if the public stays on the money bus which I sure they will. I said that last week too we will Sunday night . I am in on jax me be only game I play on Saturday or Sunday.

How can you say the Steelers are overrated?? It doesn't matter if they caught the Eagles and the Patriots in a bad spot, they were still able to beat 2 teams that most people have going to the Super Bowl. Maybe it's the fan in me talking but this year's Steeler team is far from overrated.

Big Ben plays just good enough every week to secure a win. They win ugly, they will show very poor passing stats (Ward and Burress's production has declined big time this season). This team will pound away with the run and Roethlisberger will make 2 or 3 significant plays that will lead to about 17 points. Their defence will do the rest. This has been happening every week and this week will be no different.

Good luck on your 10* play. I'll be on my Steelers to cover the small number as everyone will be thinking "this is the week Pitt loses"........sorry won't happen!!

ok steeler fans........

look, as a capper, i am very non-confrontational, i respect the others who do what i do and you will never hear me say i am better than the good cappers here.......i think we are all pretty good, blah blah blah...........

but admittedly, i did use the word 'overrated' to piss off the steeler fans .......sorry, that is the fan in me........obviously, like any capper i do not let my heart affect (or is that effect, never got that right in 4th grade english) my plays.......from a strcitly gambling aspect, i think the steelers have been in great spots and this is a terrible one...........i am not one of those clowns who picks against pittsburgh every week, and then when they finally lose, pop up and say "see i told you they would lose"

i think they are a very good team , excellent lines, solid play, great fans, but just not quite as good as new england, philly or indy.......maybe i will be wrong, we will see...........

however, i do no think i will be wrong sunday night, i do not use GOY lightly, and all i can do is put it out there..........if i am wrong, i am gonna lose about a dime, much more than i usually play on a game, but losing is part if this business too

for whatever it is worth, i am neither s steeler hater or jaguar fan, i like the texans (great, now i am gonna get blasted for that too)

Shorty, I love it and I believe your right on. I do very well in NFL. rIGHT AROUND 60%. This is one of my plays. And in the contest I am in were ya have to pick 5 games a week against the spread this would be my top rated play. if we rated are plays.
