Hello to all,
Again if you didn't read my "welcome post", I'm a new member to the board, just adding my 2 cents.
Here are my picks below:
5* Indianapolis -9
5* Chi/Dal Under 36
3* Ind/Det Under 54
3* Dallas -3
Analysis:
5* Indianapolis -9:
No reason why Peyton Manning doesn't light up this weak defense this week on turkey day. They're one of the worst pass defensive units in the league. Indy's defense is playing with confidence and is one of the top teams in the league in forcing turnovers. On the Detroit side we have one of the worst rushing offenses in the league which won't be able to exploit Indy's soft rush defense. Is it just me or is Detroit's special teams keeping them in the game in the past weeks? Indy did a good job of containing R.W. McQuarters and gang on returns last week and should contain Eddie Drummonds this week (plus Indy shouldn't be punting the ball as often which will keep Drummonds off the field on PR's).
5* Dal/Chi Under 36
After last weeks blowout playing against Indy, Louvie Smith will not take many chances with Krenzel and try to pound the ball with the Chicago running game and sustain drives. IF chicago does put up points it will take them time and they will be conservative with it. On the other end, Dallas is starting a new QB, Henson will meet a tough Bears defensive line and secondary. Expect the Bears defensive front to come up big and get to the QB this game. I don't see Dallas putting up too many points and Krenzel won't be taking too many shots down field, look for this bad boy to go UNDER.
GL to all tomm. and save some Sweet potato pie for me !!!
