...let us assume Colts put 5 TDs and 1 FG on the board, 38 points. Harrington produced 1 TD (1 INT) in last week's game.
Lions will be lucky if they can put 3 TDs on the board. Even if they do, they would still be down 38-21 (17 points). No way Lions will cover the spread.
The last time Indy put together two back to back games as strong as their last two weeks they followed up by gettting the crap kicked out of them. I've said it before. Manning is good, but not God.
This is the NFL. I cannot remember the last time a team put together back to back 30 point wins and managed to even win--much less cover--the following week. Especially on the road in a non-division game. This reminds me of the Broncos-Bengals game a few weeks ago on Monday night. No one gave Cincy a snowballs chance. Their local headlines weren't pleading for a win, but just the lack of an embarrassent.
Indy won't score 38 points Thursday. Detroit will cover and moreover win....seen it TOO MANY TIMES. Just because it's hard to concieve HOW it will happen doesn't mean it cannot or will not happen. The Lions win this ball game. Or atleast that's my opinion...
Lions covering the spread..... ok.
Lions beating the Colts? PLEASE!
Just imaging Lions over Colts should be a crime itself. Lions are ranked 32nd in offense and 25th in Pass Defense. Even if it becomes a turkey shoot, Harrington (Total 14 TD 7 INT) will not keep up Manning.
Prae is right. Back to back 30 point game.... what about houston and the bears game...Last time I remember The scores were well above 30...Manning is not GOD...true. But Manning sure can throw TD's. COLTS ALL THE FUCKEN WAY!!!!! Good luck to all
The only chance a team has at beating the Colts is to be able to keep up with their offense or have a REALLY strong defense. Their offense is ridiculous, they're so talented, they can do anything on the field. Detroit has neither the Offense to keep pace or defense to stop Indy. Its looking like another blowout unless Detroit can get the ball down the field, because the Colts will put up points early.

Colts dont even need to put a defense out there. Their D suck like shit anyway. No-matter who's injured on D...doesnt matter. Just wondering, are people going Det. b/c the everyody is playing the colts? Thats the only scheme I can come up with as in why people whould pick Det....
