  • Your worst beats of all time!

This thread is dedicated to you guys who have suffered bad beats. I want all of you to post your worst beats of all time. I've got not one but two horrible losses that will top yours, I guarantee it! These were miracle losses that ANYONE would have put the "W" down before they happened and not worried about at all.....
So have at it, BC fans.
Give me your most miserable stories and make it brief!
I promise you I'll top it!
Please don't question my record or I will leave!!!!

And MrCC, the ball going through Bull Durham's legs and then the next grounder going off a rock and over Ryno's head doesn't count, 'cuz you didn't bet on that series!
Please don't question my record or I will leave!!!!

Well, I'll give you one I've tried to forget over the years.....
don't remember the year exactly, but sometime in the 80's,
Notre Dame - Air Force, ND getting +5x, dominating the game
for most parts, up by 2, about 3 minutes to play and driving
for clinching TD or FG....don't get the TD and settle for the FG
try. Air Force blocks the FG, returns it for a TD. That puts AF
up by 4, pending conversion, no problem, right. No....AF goes
for 2, instead of the kick and of course, converts. AF now
up by 6, one last ditch drive and turnover by ND and you
have an AF cover. ND pushed them all over the stadium, but
a blocked field goal and return for TD and 2 point conversion
spelled - goodbye 2 dimes. Sickening.

mine no doubt was the music city miracle. I also had another one where the steelers were covering , titans may have been the oilers still had just kicked a field goal for the straight up lead with about 10 seconds left. The steelers start throwing laterals all over the place and then throw one back into the endzone which is recovered by the titans for a touchdown as time expires

          Atlanta-Tampa

I think it was December 1999.

Atlanta was getting something like 6 against Tampa and Atlanta was up most of the game, albeit by only a few points.

Gramatica kicks a FG to go up by 2. There's less than a minute left in the game and Atlanta gets to about thei 40 yd line. Then the bum Chris Chandler throws a perfect sideline pick that Donnie Abraham picks off and takes it to the house. That one really hurt.
