  • Monday Night Football 11/22

NFL Year to Date: 27-22-1 (+14.2 UNITS)

    3 UNITS
    New England Patriots (-3 1/2)

My take: Kansas City will ride emotion and a strong home field early on in this clash. As the game wears on, however, the Patriots offensive balance, defensive strength, and maturity will begin to take it's toll on the Chiefs. If Chiefs defense comes to play, I believe the Pats will be extended to the 4th quarter before taking control. However, it is a distinct possibility that Kansas City's defense will perform like, well...Kansas City. If that occurs, this could get ugly early and Patriots backers can sit back and enjoy a cold one as they watch their team cash their ticket.

The Chiefs have lit up the scoreboard in their last two home games to the tune of 56 and 45 points. However, that was against Atlanta and Indianapolis. The defending champions will provide much stronger resistence. When the dust settles, I'll be expecting a convincing performance by the Patriots.

    Good Luck,
    JAG

        GL with this one.

I said to a buddy of mine in week 3 that this would be New Englands 1st loss of the year. I obviously didn't think the Steelers would do it, but it might be a little tougher now without Holmes.

        GL anyway.

You too, RJ. KC is definitely a tough venue. Otherwise, I would have played this as a 5 UNIT (my highest). However, I do think there is great value in the Patriots tonight. I just feel like Brady will overcome the atmosphere and crowd noise and execute with his usual precision. I'm not sure KC is capable of stopping this offense. But we'll find out.
          Good luck!
