  • NBA Plays 11/22

Ugh, last night's Nuggets-Mavs game was one of the weirdest games I've ever seen. I live in Colorado, so I was able to watch the game. The Mavs came out and put a whooping on the Nugs in the first quarter, I mean, it looked like it was gonna be at least a 30 point blowout. Shouldn't have mattered that Dirk went down in the second quarter. I will have a great deal of trouble ever betting on the Mavericks after watching that game. If you get torched by Greg Buckner, you will never win an NBA championship. And how bout, Jerry Stackhouse. Ice cold last night, but yet, if at any point the ball was passed to him, there would be no further passes on that possesion, but instead a missed field goal.

Anyway, sorry for venting. Right before tip off I thought I had made a big mistake only taking the game for two units, turns out I was lucky.

Only a very small play tonight as I'm afraid I'm on "tilt" so to speak:

    1 UNIT - NEW ORLEANS +13

    Yesterday:
    LOSS - 2 UNITS - DALLAS -3

    Record yesterday: 0-1
    Record to date: 13-3
    Units yesterday: -2.00
    Units to date: +28.00

Ahhh you shouldn't complain too much witha 13-3 record...

We're both on NO so let's hope they come in for us.

Yeah, thanks Mike. Watching the game is what got me so angry I think. The first quarter is over and the Mavs are blowing them out (as I expected) and then the game completely shifts on me. Oh well, I know you can't win em all.

Anyway, good luck on your (and my) play on New Orleans, hope we can bring it home.

Yeah I live in Denver so I've been reading some Nuggets coverage. They are a tough team to figure out but they're really turning it on lately.

        Where are you in CO?

I live in Louisville, work in Boulder. I love the Nugs, I always root for them (at least when I'm not wagering against them). I just don't believe they are a better team than Dallas. Unfortunately for them, this Friday, San Antonio will show them their limitations. Though, hell, I'd love it if they kept proving me wrong (except when it costs me money, heh).

Excellent...I work up near you in Broomfield but drive from the tech center when I go to the office, which isn't often with all the damn traffic. Pretty area up there.
