Iowa is a much deeper better team than the last couple years. Big 12 fresmen of the year Adam Huluska tranferred and is now a Hawkeye. Doug Thomas Juco from 2 years in a row national Juco champion Burlington CC is a Hawkeye and if you havnt seen him play he can touch the top of the backboard . Pierce , Horner ,Brunner all back and a full bench this year. They are 5.5 dogs against Louiisville . My advice take the HAWKEYES.

since im an Iowan as well as Hawkeye fan yes. By the way i took all the favorites yesterday and kicked some butt in the nfl yesterday which made up for a slightly below average College day saturday. Boy was I wrong about the OSU-Michigan game as well as Stanford -Cal but i hit a few too. Iowa will be a very good team this year and will be a top team in the Big Ten this year. Wait till you see this Doug Thomas sky walk. Go to the Iowa site there are pics of him and he can look eyes even to the rim. Best leaper at Iowa since Sir Jamalot Gerry Wright. If Iowa plays to thier capabilities they may win straight up but surely will stay very close IMO. They looked good friday night and won by plenty and cleared the bench early.Comment

I am sorry to say but I can not believe that Louisville is only favored by 5.5!!!! I have watched every Iowa game since I was born and Iowa did not look good Friday and did not look good in the Exibition season. I thougt Louisville would be favored by 11 or 12 and I still like Louisville at that number. Doug Thomas maybe can jump out of the gym but he was not even the best player at Southeastern CC. If you look at the coaching factor Alford will get outcoached again.Comment
