2* Texans +3 (-105)
This is a horrible spot for the Packers. Green Bay has won four in a row and is coming off a huge win over conference rival Minnesota and has St. Louis on deck on Monday night at home. They go on the road in a non-conference game against a Texans team that will be well motivated after last week's humiliation at the hands of Indy. Look for an improved performance from Carr against GB's bad pass defense.
1* Bengals +4
All teams in the NFL eventually have letdowns and it's hard to see how Pittsburgh can keep playing at this level. I suspect blitz-happy Marvin Lewis will try to rattle Rothlisberger. Line may go up to +5 as public loves betting the hot team. This is a pure contrarian play.
1* Bills +1
St. Louis is awful on the road and in cold weather. This is another letdown spot and comes against a Bills team that is playing decent football right now. Buffalo's offense isn't as ugly as it was in the beginning of the year and should be able to score against St. Louis.
1* Cardinals +3 (-130)
Arizona's been very good to me this year and I'm staying with them. Carolina's a tough read off last week's weird second half explosion. But the Cardinals defense is excellent and should be able to keep Carolina in check. The Panthers pass defense has been miserable and Arizona should be able to score at least 21 and I think that'll be enough. I strongly suggest buying the hook to +3 here as the game may be rather low scoring.
