  • Ending to Cal-UCLA game...

...all that bum from Cal had to do was sink one of those free throws and things would have been okay, (unless of course if UCLA hit a three) Instead he misses the front end of a one and one. Amazing why Braun would have his freshman get the ball with less than a minute to go.

    By the way, UCLA blows.

Jason Kapuono could be the only player who was NBA material in his freshman season, to NEVER playing basketball again by the time he graduates. He has gotten horrible.

    Any thoughts.

White boys can't jump!!! or hold on to a rebound... the game should have been sealed with seven seconds to go, but Joe Blow White Boy couldn't come down with the ball!!! :angryfire

UCLA gave Cal how many chances to win that damn game and they wouldn't take it!!! One rebound at the end of regulation would have done it...the missed front end in OT...and then another missed rebound to allow the winning shot!!! Unreal!

It's so great to stay up late and watch a bum UCLA team and a bum UCLA player shoot a ball off balance and make it. To show you how pathetic UCLA fans are, the place didn't even get loud. They don't even care. That sucks to lose that way.

That freshman barely even drew rim on the shot too.

ONce I saw him fixing his jersey and fidgeting with his sleeve, I knew Cal was screwed. Either way though, if CAl had gotten the rebound they would have been okay.

That's what I'm talking about, a player who is very good his freshman year, but stays ALL four years and ends up being horrible. Shit, forget about horrible, because he's worse than that. What did he do, have two turnovers and commit a foul in the last two minutes of regulation. Amazing that Cal didn't pull that one out.

That punk from Cal, Smidgen, Midget, whatever....he could have shot that thing 6 inches further and it still would have clanked off the iron. And how ridiculous was it that UCLA had only FOUR fouls after 24:20 of second half play (counting OT).

And don't even get me started about that miraculous banked three pointer that gave UNCC the backdoor cover earlier. Years ago, someone told me that the breaks even out over time. Well I'm still waiting! That's 316 miracles against me over the years, and only 42 for me....Tell me when they start evening out and I'll bet 3 dimes a game to get my $ back and then some!
Please don't question my record or I will leave!!!!

Sorry casheasy, I had to laugh at your post because I think every gzamb (gambler) thinks that those back doors, front doors, and any other frikkin side door covers even out in the end. Don't forget the Duke game on Wednesday night.

I have to say though, that the best cover (for me that is) was a fee weeks ago when Minnesota played Michigan and the Michigan player missed a dunk with seconds left to insure the cover for me and Minny.

But you're right casheasy, I'm still waiting for this shit to even out.

It was an easy pick to go the other way on "the Animal" offered a guarantee last night and it was based on Cal -1-.
                      GOOD LUCK ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

                        Dont forget the MArquette game

I had a $500 3 team parlay with 2 in the bag with the only game let being the under in the Marquette/Charlette Game. 13 seconds to go score is 74-64, Marquette hits a free throw to give me a push with my straight bet Marquette -11 but whats that some jackass banks a half court shot. Not only costing me $2500 on the parlay but also my dime bet on Marquette.

Biggest bunch of shit I have ever seen

Yeah, Charlotte has been screwing up all year and then they cover against two strong teams... they've done nothing but cost me cash all year... first I bet on them, then I bet against them, I think I'll have to pass on any game they're in from now on!!!:angryfire

                            Middle

Not only that, but on 1 of my online books I had California -2 and on 1 I had UCLA +4 and played a nice sized middle along with my bet on California, so if that guy makes 1 free throw I push side of the middle and win the other side. If he made both and UCLA did not score then I win Cal and both sides of middle. I was a little bitter, but that is how the week has gone.

How can they not get the ball to Shipp. They didn't even try.
