Red Circled Games

HEy guys, i just wanted to know if its the policy of all sportsbooks, or just lame bodog that when a game is "red circled" not only is their a max bet you can place on it (that i know), but you can't tease the game...is this common all over or some stupid bodog policy? bc im pissed right now! please let me know
