Has anyone used Godspicks or Bigjacks? I've been checking their sites lately and it seems like they have a good record.

From Edward @ Right Angle Sports

His analysis & info is terrific.

RAS Added Looks 1-1 (Recommended as 1/2 UNIT plays)
                            *One play Thursday:

Arizona -22.5 (Play to -24) over Wright State - 6:00pm Pacific
After Tuesday's uninspiring 11 point win over an underrated San Diego team, Arizona head coach Lute Olson said, "We need to have that killer instinct, that when you have a team down by 20, you go for 30." His team will get a great chance to exhibit that philosophy tonight vs a young, undersized Wright State team who lacks depth and is playing its second road game in three nights. The Raiders won in OT at Tulsa on Tuesday. All 5 starters played between 39-to-44 minutes. They received almost zero production off the bench with three reserves combining for 12 minutes and 4 points. Wright State's tallest regular is just 6'7. The Raiders have 6 freshman, 4 sophomores, 1 junior, and 1 senior. Both upperclassmen are in their first season with the program so the team does not have a lot of playing experience together. The 3-point shot can be an equalizer in college hoops, but the Raiders are a rare team who does not make or attempt many 3-pointers. Including their exhibition game they are just 4-of-13 from behind the arc through two games. In the win at Tulsa they had 11 assists and 17 turnovers. They may have been able to get away with all of this vs a struggling Tulsa club, but it will be an entirely different story vs the likes of Arizona tonight. Wildcat stars Adams, Frye, Stoudamire, and Shakur are known commodities, but 6-10 sophomore forward Ivan Radenovic (17 points, 10 rebounds in opener) looks to have emerged as an additional all around impact player. Junior widebody big man Isaiah Fox will be available tonight after serving a one game suspension giving Arizona seven top notch experienced players plus two developing well regarded freshman. Adams and Frye, the teams top two scorers last season, each only had 6 in opener but both are much too good to have two off games in a row. Wright State does not have the depth, experience, size, or talent to keep up here and once they fall behind there will be no answers. Wildcats roll.

RAS Added Info (Information purposes only)

Mississippi State - All-american candidate forward Lawrence Roberts (suspension/nose) is expected to play vs Syracuse.

Syracuse - Point guard Billy Edelin is eligible but remains out of the Syracuse lineup to focus on academics.

St Mary's (CA) - Senior guard Paul Marigney (teams leading scorer and all-conference player last year) is ineligible until December 10th. Starting forward Frederic Adjiwanou has not played yet this year and will miss two more games due to eligibity issue.

VCU - One of teams top returning players, 6-6 senior forward Michael Doles is out indefinitely with mononucleosis.

East Carolina - Starting center Moussa Badiane (2nd team in scoring, 1st in rebounds among returning players, one of top shotblockers in the nation) missed Pepperdine game (one game suspension) but is expected to return vs Oregon State today. Badiane also was recovering from a preseason injury and only saw limited minutes off the bench in final exhibition game.

Pepperdine - Projected starting center Derrick Grubb (back) did not play in either exhibition game. He has recently participated in some practices but did not make the trip to North Carolina. All conference forward Yakhouba Diawara (leading scorer, rebounder, best defender last year) suffered a sprained ankle in practice and was noticably limping throughout yesterdays game vs East Carolina according to Pepperdine broadcaster. He reaggravated it early on in the second half and was not his normal self.

Oregon State - All conference forward and team leading scorer David Lucas Is out until at least late December with a toe injury. Quality reserve guard Angelo Tsagarakis (shoulder) is out until mid-December. 6-9 junior forward Nick DeWitz, a versatile scorer, will become eligible at the end of the fall term after transfering from Iowa. Senior forward Jim Hanchett, a tight end on the football team, will make the trip to North Carolina and return home in time for Saturday's football game. Hanchett played just 10 minutes in win over Siena yesterday and is said to not be in basketball shape.

Siena - Quality reserve guard Mike Beers (broken hand) will be out for at least 2-3 weeks. Top player Michael Haddix is recovering from a back sprain but showed no ill effects scoring 26 in opening game. Quality reserve forward David Ryan suffered a broken collarbone and missed three weeks of practice. He just resumed drills days ago and saw 12 minutes of action in opener. Projected starting point guard freshman Kojo Mensah (banged knee) started and played 29 minutes.

All early season tournaments will play with the following experimental rules: Expanded key, block/charge circle similar to NBA, and the international 3-point line.

                              BIG AL THURSDAY FOOTBALL

                              MARYLAND

Our Thursday night Football Winner is on Maryland + the points against Virginia Tech, as RESTED conference underdogs of more than 7, and less than 28 points are 27-4 ATS in Weekday games since 1980, if the favorite (here, Virginia Tech) is off a win and does not have revenge against our underdog. And we can improve our 27-4 stat to a perfect 9-0 ATS if our underdog (here, Maryland) is off a SU/ATS loss. With the Terrapins in off a 16-0 loss, and Virginia Tech in off a 27-24 win, let's back Ralph Friedgen's Terps in this ACC Thursday Night game. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
