Pro Basketball:
1 Unit on Indiana Pacers +4½ -110
NBA FREEBIE: INDIANA Let’s return to the NBA tonight for what less than a week ago would have been a battle for Eastern Conference supremacy. Now the Nets are fortunate to have gotten out of the Atlantic gate quickly as the Celtics are sneaking up from behind and the Pacers have watched Detroit slip in 1st in the Central by a ½ game. Both teams need a win here with Indiana dropping 12 of 16 ATS and the Nets losing the cash in 6 of 8. NJ has smoked team after team at Continental Airlines Arena but lately have been lacking at the ticket window as they have failed to cover 6 of 9 in the swamps. The Pacers are trying to avoid a 3 game skid for the first time this season.

NCAA BASKETBALL
Stanford @ USC
Pick: Stanford +1
Time: 10:35 PM EST
Today the National Sports Advisors look for Stanford to cover as +1 point underdogs, when they matchup with USC in Los Angeles tonight.
Stanford is 13-10-1 against the spread (ATS), 19-6 straight up (SU), and has covered the spread in three of its last four games. The Cardinal is a respectable 6-4 straight up on the road this season, and 5-5 ATS. Stanford will be looking to improve upon their 10-3 Pac 10 conference record, which is good enough for third place entering tonight's game.
Southern Cal enters tonight's game off of two road losses at Arizona and Arizona St, which they lost by a combined 57 points. The losses brought USC's overall record under the .500 mark at 10-11, including 5-7 in Pac 10 league play. The Trojans are 7-4 at home this season, but just 3-7 ATS.
So why STANFORD? Well, Stanford has proved they can win on the road and they are facing a team that has little confidence and motivation right now. For all practical purposes, USC's season is over. They are merely playing out the string until the Pac 10 tournament, which will be their only shot at earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament. Look for Stanford to get the job done tonight
