      Saint Mary's Ca -8.5 (-105)

Belmont had a nice (21-9) season last year but they only return 3 players this year, none of which were starters. Brian Collins is the team's best player and he should be the team leader all season. The problem is who else is going to help him? They are very inexperienced and it could be tough for awhile until they figure out their rotation. Collins should receive alot of attention and that will put alot of responsibility on others to hit some shots. Belmont only has 2 guys over 6-6 on the roster and that will hurt their rebounding numbers as well. St Mary's on the other hand is very experienced. They will be without leading scorer Paul Marigney for the first 7 games and Frederic Adjiwaou for 4 games (Both Academics) but Daniel Kickert will be there to carry the load early. Marigney and Kickert were both 1st team All Conference players last year and with the experience they have throughout their lineup, and the fact that this game is in California i like the Gaels of St Mary's by double digits here!

      "Slam Dunk" ( Units)
      ...........................................

      Alabama A&M +12.5 (-107)

A&M (13-17) Last season should be much improved. They return there core group of players and G Obie Trotter is a proven Superstar. He averaged 18.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.03 steals last year. He should be the Conference player of the year and can carry a team on his back if needed. Birmingham G Jakob Sigurdarson is a very good player as well but they lost some talent up front. I see a much closer game than the spread and i wouldn't be surprised if A&M had a shot at winning this one down the stretch with Trotter handling the rock!

      College Basketball 2003-04 = (389-361) +102.98 Units
      College Basketball 2002-03 = (338-272) +38.80 Units

      GOOD LUCK :D

At halftime i didn't think Florida St had a chance to make the number. It was a painful game to watch because of the horrible play but i'll take the win!

                    Nice night Wayne
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
