It is true that the public doesn't always lose...and you raie the exact point I posted at another forum...Indy tonite is at least as overwhelming of a public play as Balty last nite...can't remember when in b2b national spotlight games on consecutive nights there was such a one-sided public opinion...will be interesting to see what happens...that said, I am not sure I agree it was a "big public" weekend...every dog in the early games on Sunday covered - I believe it was 7 for 7, including a few outrights...

You guys are clueless, my local cleaned house, and a friend who works in Vegas told me they did also. Just because you guys see posted percentages on games at overseas sportsbooks, doesn't mean it's everywhere. I was the only one on Balt my local told me. Lots of late money roll in all the time. My local jumped the line only .5 since last Monday. Went the public is on a play the lines jump 2-6 points from original. Maybe at one or two overseas lines it might have went up because they had alot of money on a game, but only a few. I didn't have one game jump more than 1 point yesterday. My local jumps .5 every $5000 over one way.

You are out of your mind...I can tell you MY local had only ONE play on cleveland - that's right -ONE...I would love to see others here post on what their locals had...I GUARANTEE more money was on Ravens...not even close...just look at number of GOY Raven posts all over the net...with your last response, you should stick to baseball...and btw, this line DID jump 1.5 points - from 5.5 to 7...now who is clueless?

I bet threw thegreek. Rarely use my local book. I am a friends with him thats mainly why. We work together (day job). Already talked with him and he made out well yesterday. Understand though I am in upstate ny. Giant/jets country. He told me even though 80% of his action was on Ravens last night he still won big yesterday. This was due to the fact that almost ever call he got was betting on NYG,NYJ,KC,StLouis. His only losers were S.D. Seattle and Baltimore. He had some other action on all the games but not enough to even talk about. He said Bears and
TB were 2 biggest wins of the day for him. He did take a hit on S.D. but made up for it on PATS. Many people were on StLouis @ home. Only big loss was on Baltimore but by that time 85% of his players were chasing bigtime. Also many had baltimore/under as parleys and split out. He won not huge but he's still + enough to be happy as typically he is on monday.
