A guy bets Rockets +2.5 for the second half, Rockets up 1 at half...... End of the 2nd half score is tied, shouldnt that be a win??? Overtime is not the second half, it is an extra period?? What are your thoughts??? Thanks

Overtime does count towards the total.

It was a second HALF bet, the second half ended in a tie, why would overtime have anything to do with a second HALF bet?

If you didn't know the rules before you bet, then you have no one to blame but yourself.

Especially if you didn't ask before hand.

I think it makes a lot of sense to allow extra time into 2nd half. Remember you are betting with final score in mind, you thought rockets would keep within a few points of lakers or win outright, which they didn't. So you lose.

1st and 2nd half lines basically mean halftime and final score...... totals and spreads, you should always know those things before wagering ca$h.

If you had over 97 for the 2nd half and the game ended tied and the 2nd half score total was 96, going to OT. Would you expect to be paid for the over?:eek:
