lets see if these help anyone crs ....

Jets (6-1) @ Bills (2-5)-- Gang Green off big Monday nite win; they beat Bills 16-14 in Week 5, outgaining them 383-252, their fourth win in last five tries vs Bills, an 0-3 team when they allow more than 14 points. Bills won their last two home games; their last three at home went over total, while four of last five Jet games stayed under. Bills are 2-0 when they score 20+, 0-5 if they don't; since the bye, Jets have not allowed more than 14 points in game. Jets are also plus-12 in turnovers.

Eagles (7-0) @ Steelers (6-1)-- Pitt beat one unbeaten team last week, go for two here; they won last five games themselves; their last four went over total, with Steelers averaging 30 ppg. Eagles allowed 17 or less points in six of seven games, will be another test for prodigy Big Ben, who has won 17 starts in row, dating back to his college days. Steelers averaging 166.8 yards on ground over last five games, as ex-Eagle Staley has juiced up running game Eagles have Monday nighter at Dallas on deck.

Redskins (2-5) @ Lions (4-3)-- Home team won eight in row and 14 of last 15 series games, with only loss a wild Redskin comeback in Silverdome in late 80's; Skins lost last two visits to Motor City; they've yet to score more than 18 points in game this year, and have just five TDs on last 50 drives. Lions are 4-0 when they allow less than 30 points, having allowed 13.8 ppg in their wins, and 30-38-31 in losses, but they did lose last two at Ford Field.

Cowboys (3-4) @ Bengals (2-5)-- Cincy lost four of last five games, Dallas three of four; Cowboys are 3-0 if they allow 21 or less points; they've allowed average of 31.5 ppg in losses. Bengals topped 20 just once in last six tilts, although they are 2-1 at home. Four of last five Dallas and three of last four Cincy games went over total; they have allowed 123+ rushing yards in each of their last five games. Six of last eight series totals were 48+, with the avergae total in series games at this site, 56.

Raiders (2-6) @ Panthers (1-6)-- Both teams lost five in row; Raiders haven't had their bye yet, so they might be tired club, allowing 30+ points in each of last five losses. Chargers had six TDs on 10 drives last week, and they didn't score in fourth quarter. Collins returns to his NFL roots here; he led Panthers to NFC title game long time ago. Carolina scoring 11.6 ppg during its loss streak; six of their first seven games stayed under, while three of the four Oakland road games went over the total.

Cardinals (2-5) @ Dolphins (1-7)-- Miami off big loss on Monday night; they haven't had their bye yet, so could be lot of tired bodies, plus they lost Seau for year- their last three games went over total. Arizona going cross country second week in row; they fired their OL coach last Friday so they have issues too; their last four games went over total, despite a defense that had allowed just three TDs on last 48 drives before debacle in Buffalo wind last week Fish are 8-0 vs Arizona, winning three of four at this site by 14+, but last meeting was five years ago.

Chiefs (3-4) @ Buccaneers (2-5)-- Both teams playing better, with Chiefs scoring 101 points in last two games, both at home, while Bucs won two of last three. Gruden 5-1 vs spread after a bye, scoring 27.7 ppg; his only loss was 38-35 Monday nighter vs Colts last year, when he had 35-17 lead with 5:00 left. Chiefs are 0-4 when they score less than 27 points; Bucs have allowed 10-16-7 at home, with all three games staying under. In last two tilts, Chiefs have amazing 14 TDs on 24 possessions.

Bears (2-5) @ Giants (5-2)-- Krenzel makes first road start for Bear club with three offensive TDs on their last 47 drives; three of their five losses are by five or less pts, but this is tall order, at Giant squad that is 5-1 in last six games, with plus-12 turnover ratio. Under is 3-0-1 in last four Chicago games, 6-0 in last six Big Blue tilts; Bears are 0-4 if they score less than 21 points. Giants allowed 14 or less in their wins, 31,28 in their losses. New York 25 for 87 on third down, sign Warner still uncomfortable.

Seahawks (4-3) @ 49ers (1-6)-- Rice returns to 'stick as a Seahawk, a team that drilled Niners 34-0 in Week 3, outgaining them 374-175, outrushing them 117-48, with a plus-4 TO margin. Only game SF won, they trailed 28-12 with 5:00 left. If Rattay cannot go, this is horrible football team; they had eight 3-and-outs in 14 drives at Chicago last week, with no TDs on offense. Seattle ended its loss streak last week, but struggled after taking 14-0 lead; their last four games went over the total.

Saints (3-4) @ Chargers (5-3)-- Saints won five of last seven after a bye, covering seven of last ten; they scored 62 points in last two games before bye, and are 2-1 on road- they're also 0-3 if they score less than 28 points, so bad news vs Charger club thats won four of last five, won three in row at home and is averaging 35.5 ppg at home, really an amazing stat. Over is 4-0 in Charger home tilts, 6-0 in last six Saint games. Bolts lost four of five before a bye, but this team playing with heightened confidence.

Patriots (6-1) @ Rams (4-3)-- St Louis lost to hideous Fish in last game, but are off bye vs Patriot squad without its top two CBs and RB Dillon. Super Bowl revenge and World Series revenge will be in crowd's mind. Pats have just two TDs in last 18 possessions; if they can't cover Ram WRs, and they struggle running ball. Bulger is going to put up big numbers. Pats have to go zone, Rams will pick it apart; five of their last six games went over total, it is hard to imagine this one not going over, too.

Texans (4-3) @ Broncos (5-3)-- Denver led Falcons last week 14-3, when safety Lynch went out with hip injury (4-6 weeks), bad news vs Carr-Johnson combo that won four of last five games, scoring 24.4 ppg. Denver is 4-9-1 vs spread before its last 14 byes, losing before three of its last four- they have minus-7 turnover ratio, and allowed 8.5, 10.5 yards per pass last two games.Texans gave up just one TD on last 21 drives. In last two games, Denver ran ball 45 times, tried to pass it 98 times.

Browns (3-4) @ Ravens (4-3)-- Tell me when Ogden is back at LT for Ravens, and thats when it'll be OK to go with Baltimore again. RB Lewis is back here, but he ran for just 88 yards in Week 1 20-3 loss at Dawg Pound. In their five year history, Browns are 0-3 vs spread after a bye, twice having their bye in Week 17, when there were odd number of teams; average total in those games was a gaudy 52. Ravens have pair of TDs and 13 3-and-outs on their last 36 drives.

Vikings (5-2) @ Colts (4-3)-- Indy allowed 27+ points in five of seven games; they're 0-2 since bye, allowing 72 points (eight TDs/19 drives) and 331 rushing yards. Vikes might go to running game with Moss limping; they have scored just 33 points in last two games, after averaging 30 in first five. Minnesota allowed 28+ points in three of last four games, but field position has hurt them, as they started sixteen more drives (30-14) than their opponents have 80+ yards away from goal line.
