        College Football (41-47) -57.85 Units
        ------------------------------------------------

        .................................................. ............................
        "Touchdown" ( Units)
        .................................................. ............................

        Memphis +14 (-112)

        ........................................
        "Safety" ( Units)
        ........................................

        Memphis ML +480

It could be a costly game for me but i feel even if Memphis doesn't pull off the upset that the points are way too much. It could be a 4 unit profit or a huge one. The alternative of dropping 8 units is something we don't want to discuss!

        GOOD LUCK!

          CLEVELAND?

Miami ran away with it against New Jersey last night, Cleveland got beat in double OT against an injured Pacer team. Somehow my newspaper has the Heat favored by 4, and I think even at -8, Miami should be able to take care of a tired Cleveland team.

Do you know how old Lebron is? It's the 2nd game of the year and i'm not worried about fatigue. The line would have been much lower before last night and the public has pushed it up with your thinking i guess. I'll take the 8.

              Memphis?

I know Memphis is OK and they will have HF and the weather is supposed to be bad, but Louisville almost beat Miami, and they are High Powered, I think I would go against both your choices, But I also am down big early on the NBA. Playing Cleveland at home last night, and on Tuesday I bet against the Home Lakers and Mavs so my picks aren't exactly golden

P.S. N.J. is not good and Artest was announced right at 7 pm last night as being out for the Cleveland game. He played and played very well.

                GL with your play!

You simply can't base plays on their previous games all the time. Louisville beat N.C. 34-0 and Miami lost to them. Both games were in N.C.

So how did Miami beat Louisville?

This is also a big rivalry and those are always tougher. Teams like Louisville or Utah or Fresno always lose when you don't expect them too and it's easy for them to get up for a game against Miami. Memphis has a good offense and a good team here too, their not going into this game without firepower themselves.

I could be wrong and Louisville could win by 30 but i like Memphis to keep it close.

                            wayne

thanks wayne for your reasoning behind the picks, your making me doubt my choices, LOL and i hate second guessing. I'm still going with Miami -4 on the quick turnaround (gonna go pray that shaq plays alot) and going with the memphis over, because if Miami couldn't shut down Louisville, Memphis "SHOULDN'T" be able to either. Thanks for the info again, wayne, I'm new to the board after a long hiatus.
