Is Nebraska the team they once were? No way, but this is a game they should win by double digits with their eyes closed. Iowa St has a 2 game win streak going and it is their first since the start of last season. The teams they have beaten, a struggling Kansas (@ home) and a horrible Baylor by 1 (on the road) doesn't do anything to impress me. If anything it kept this line down enough for this play to happen. Iowa St is just horrible on offense averaging less than 300 total yards per game and ranked 128th in offense (117th passing, 96th rushing). The Cyclones's have always liked to run the ball and the problem with that is they will be up against it playing Nebraska's defense. Nebraska held Missouri and Brad Smith, one of the nation's best rushing Qb's to 51 yards rushing last weekend and they rank 10th nationally given up only 93.2 ypg on the ground. Iowa St does face a weak Nebraska pass defense but with their inept offense i don't think they can get the ball down field. Nebraska had a nice 24-3 win over Missouri last weekend and they have a very good shot at a 7-4 record with a win here.

I love it Wayne! Plenty of incentive for the Huskers as they control there own destiny in the Big 12 North. That would be a huge accomplishment considering the struggles this year. I just hope they don't contract the turnover bug that has haunted them all year.

I agree, Dailey has been struggling to say the least but they beat Missouri by 21 points with those numbers. Just imagine if he connects on a few!
