Here is my play for opening night. I'm not really sure what way this line will go, so I thought I would get it out early........


2 STAR: DETROIT (-5.5) OVER Houston

I think the Rockets will be improved this season, but it is going to take some time. The Rockets have struggled at both end of the floor in the pre-season and they are going to need some time to come together as a team as the majority of these players were not here last season. The struggling Rockets offense will have a tough time getting much going against the defending champ Pistons who play the best defense in the league. The Pistons have won and covered three straight meetings with the Rockets in Detroit and all three of those games were double digit wins. I expect the same to happen here, lay the points!
