For whatever reason, people seem to believe UConn is a good football team. They keep losing ATS after failing to cover last week against Temple. Syracuse, on the other hand, has been battling public perception ever since opening week drubbing by Purdue. Syracuse always much tougher in the Carrier Dome and UConn is on the road for only the second time this season. Syracuse star RB back after missing last week.
1* Iowa State +4
Kansas facing a huge letdown after games against instate rival K-State and last week versus Oklahoma. Iowa State has been improving, is always tough at home and returns after a two game road trip that ended with a come from behind win at Baylor.
1* Florida +7
Teams usually rally around fired coaches in the first game after the axe. Florida has major motivation after sleazy handling of Zook firing by school. Georgia just doesn't score enough to be trusted laying a lot of points. Georgia barely beat a weak Arkansas team last week and while Florida looked pathetic in losing to Miss State I think the Gators will be playing with high emotion.
1* Mississippi +18
Rebels getting 18 at home?? This is a pure value play. Auburn is the better team but Mississippi is improving. Mississippi, off the bye, almost upset Tennessee two weeks ago and beat South Carolina on the road the week before that! And Rebels have another bye next week meaning they'll be very hyped for this game. Mississiipi has scored an astonishing 199 points in its last five games. Auburn is a very misleading 8-0, beating only two teams that aren't lousy. Auburn likely to take Mississippi lightly here.

This play was posted earlier in the week so I won't give the long analysis. Suffice to say that SC's star QB and RB are both back from injuries and Holtz at home versus a ranked team has always been a great angle. Tennessee has been playing a brutal schedule and may be dragging.
