WTF - Ga Tech!

Did that actually happen? Ga Tech driving with about 6 minutes to play, inside the Va Tech 5, with a chance to go up 24-12. Next thing you know you have a choke of "Yankee" proportions, and they not only fail to win, but they don't cover, and they even screw up the teasers - UnF'nbelievable!! I can only hope we got the painful loss out of the way for the weekend...

2 THINGS happened in this game
#1 chan gailey thinks hes still in the nfl and sat on the ball with 5 minutes left and kicked a field go to go up by 8
this is college football chan 5 minutes is enough time to score 30 points
#2 the second interception by g -tch that cost us the teaser bet
the virginia tech player lost control of the ball on the 2 yard line and fumbled in the endzone and g-tech recoverd but they called it a td when it was clearly a fumble
that was just plain and simple a bad call and thats the breaks
better luck tommorrow because we didnt have any luck today

We've all had some real bad bad beats, but that was one of
the most obnoxious. Had Tech with the over teased and even
when Tech had it at the fifty you just had that feeling that it
was lost, at times you just know!!

GT was the right play. You can't expect your team to give up 21 points with 5 min left. It is like someone hitting there one outer at the river . VT backers got really lucky.

listen, i had niether, i had the under which was the wrong side. but i could say that it was the right side if it wasnt for those 21 points in 5 minutes at the end of the game or those 21 second quarter points in like a 3 minute span. without those the under is gold. a loing bet is always the wrong side period!

I agree the rightside is always the winning side. But I will take a lead that Georgia Tech had anyday of the week. Odds of that kind of comeback in the end are 1 out of 10 "Maybe even higher".

I will take those odds and would like to be on the side thats winning going into the last 5 mins anyday of the week. Thats what I was trying to point out. So Yes I was on the wrongside last night. But 9 out 10 times it would have been the rightside.

You all have to remember these are kids. I like the college game because they generally lay it all on the line when they play. But they also make a ton of mistakes and a lot of unexpected things happen.

Many of my loses were due to F'ups. One I definitely remember is a Texas receiver dropping a td pass in the endzone. Most likely that cost me my cover in the OK game.

Tennessee 18 year old qb throwing a pick from the opponents 5 yard line, when up seven already and laying seven, blowing what would have been my cover. Of course, that piece of sh*t Fulmer throwing the ball with a rookie qb, on 2nd and 2 from the opponents 5 yard line wasn't to F'n smart.

One can just hope these things will even out by seasons end.
