Thanks for this info....I had no Idea the Animal was 5 games below 500 in NCAA Foots....

In NCAA foots this comes out to...
3437 total picks
1823 right---1614 wrong....209 games +...53%
add the juice--10% of 1614 = 162
mathamaticly computes to 1823 units for, 1776 against..
Translates to +47 units....for 108 different services...
This breaks down to 0.435 units on the plus side (avg out)
per service....This is all broke down without factoring that "they actually charge for this"...less than a 1/2 unit profit (avg) per service...Pathetic.....

It has been stated here many times before, the best picks are
in this Forum for free....Go to our locals picks, see their record, do the math, and tell me why you would pay for a service....

These figures probably will make my man FrankB03 have a seizure, as you all know he has openly professed his dislike for Services....I also belong to that group...

To all you newbies/rookies---asking the question---whats the best service to follow/use---I repeat---Bettors Chat Forum Members....There are plenty, some stand out more than others, I won't go into naming them---because I may omit one--do your own research...

I personaly am having my worst NCAA football season in the last 8 yrs, and I'm still on the + side...Didn't cost me one damn cent...

For the Newcomers to Bettors Chat

Kmann , Frankie B and I ( aka The 3 Wise Men ) together have had 100 years of experience doing what we do and we know you can't win with services unless you follow one and only one of the good ones faithfully... through hot and cold . And there may be 5 decent ones out of the whole bunch ... at the most . The rest are dog shit. And you can't bounce around from one to the other if the service you follow has a bad week. You'll turn to someone else who's been "hot" ... then you'll play his games ... they'll lose ... while your origional one sweeps the board. Now you're scrambling and running around in circles while your pockets are bleeding out, trying to decide what to do.

It can be a real nightmare especially if you make the common mistake of thinking day to day or week to week. I get the feeling most do just that.

You want to be a long term winner. That's the mind set of the most seasoned of players.

The day to day bouncing around from one to another will absolutely kill you.

Here's an example and I've seen this all to often in BC:

Someone posts that such and such has a complimentary play tonight on whatever .... He's 18 - 3 in his last 21 comp plays !!!
You climb on him when you should be fadiing or at the very least ... ignoring . What do you think ? ... he's going to maintain this unconscious streak and get to 36 -6 ? No way ... if his record is legit then the maximum profits have already been made and you missed the boat ... period ... end of story.

The plain truth is that there are handicappers right here in BC ... right under your noses ... who in the long run will make you a long term winner and will provide for you the most bang for your wagering buck.

If you MUST seek outside help and I don't know why but let's say " IF YOU DO " ... then on balance in the long term there are 2 services to consider:

Private Players of Pittsburgh for all COLLEGE SPORTS

Northcoast Sports - a football only service

By long term I'm talking 3-5 years out and even more.

One more thing to consider - Set REALISTIC goals ... There's a ton of money to be made in the LONG TERM by allying yourselves with an outfit which provides you with 58% - 62% winners.

Thanks for your words of wisdom. Though I'm 52 years old I've only been gambling for a little over a year. Believe it or not, my sons got me into it. Sorry little bastards. Anyway, in that year I've made about every mistake there is to make. I've let my greed overcome my judgment about a scamdicapper before I even knew what that term meant. I won't name any names but his initials are Bob Donahue. And I know that what you say about jumping around among service picks is true. The same is true if one jumps around coattailing good free cappers on this forum or another forum. I'm a student of handicapping and I've learned quite a bit, especially about basketball and baseball handicapping. And sometimes i just play my own picks with input from good handicappers on a couple of forums. I know, however, that if I picked just one good capper to coattail over a few seasons, that I'd come out better in the longrun. I've just got to decide which one.
