It'll be curoius to see if some Sox fans suffer the same fate I did as a long time New York Ranger fan.

Prior to the Rangers winning the cup in 1994 it was 54 years since their previous championship. I was a huge Ranger fan growing up. I suffered! Enduring years of 1940 chants.

After the Rangers won the cup in 1994 I slowly lost interest in them from year to year. At this point I have very little interested in the Rangers and NHL hockey. I'm certain moving from NY to Florida is part of the reason.

It'll also be interesting to see the reaction of Yankee fans. Although, they have 28 WS championships they lost some luster these past two weeks. I remember some Islander fans being devestated when the Rangers won the cup. They could no longer chant '1940'. The Ranger/Islander rivalry lost some of its luster.

CONGRAT Sox fans!

Speaking of NHL hockey does anyone miss it? It doesn't seem like it's missed that much.

St Louis NEVER Led one inning of the World Series, NOT ONE! Think about that for a minute. Has that ever been done before? I still remember watching game 3 against N.Y and thinking wow, what a disappointment AGAIN. 8 Straight to the house and i can't believe my eyes! What a great Performance and oh ya'....
