  • Wayne, Homer, EZ.....Can anyone help?

I am doing some number crunching for the NFL, and I need to know if anyone has or knows of a site where I can find the opening line and the closing lines for the NFL games of last year. I am trying to track what seems to be three very prominent trends, but I want to go back as far as I can with the results. So far it's GOLD. Can anyone help with this???

Do you know if that is the opening or the closing lines? I'm going to need both, but that site will definitely be a piece to the puzzle, thanks

I'm not sure. If i go back for lines i usually go to ********* or scoresandodds.com but they only have closing lines. ********* would show you the line movement but it would take awhile to do it.

            Check out JimFeist.com.
He has under his pro fotball link, football scores.
Hit that and you hit past scores, a screen pops up and type in the dates you would need for last seasons games.
It shows Opening and Closing lines and other info.
Hopefully this might help you out.

DonBest Archives has opening and closing lines.

Then click on a date under the Lines column.

To go further back manually change the date on the address bar of your browser.

Unfortunalety, you have to do it date by date. It doesn't allow you to do the entire schedule.

ScoresandOdss doesn't post the opening line once the games starts. They post the scores instead.

I know Don Best and his site, I use it a lot. Do you know if it can go back to years past though? I only see lines for this year. I need ones for last year and a two years ago for number crunching purposes. Thanks again

Last years is available. Prior years is not.

Here's the link to Week 1 NFL last year

                            http://www.donbest.com/dbs2001/archi...030904/fb1.htm

In the address field of you browser manually change the web site address from:

                            030904

                            to:

                            030911
                            http://www.donbest.com/dbs2001/archi...030911/fb1.htm

do it for each week of the football season. Use Thursday's date. You'll get the entire week.
