I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT PICK. PITT HAS A WHITE QB NOW. I'M JUST STATING FACTS NOW.. ROTHLESBURGER IS WAY BETTER THAN KORSMELL. BUT GL ANYWAY
as long as you don't have to kill or steal for it.

NWO - Asshole of the Month

Congratulations again on clearly stating what needed to be said . Not only do you express yourself in true, authentic THIRD GRADE GIBBERISH , you again choose to embarrass yourself in another man's post .... and a serious man at that.

You're a damn disgrace and an embarassment to yourself and to Bettors' Chat.

Show some heart and post your own ... and while you're at it, tell
us all your insightful method of handicapping .... tell us all that you handicap by RACE... like you just did ... here in another man's thread.

You know what, Junior ? ... better still ....go outside and play with all your other friends ... Biff ... Chip ..... and Scooter .... and leave your infantile comments out of other people's posts .

The information in BC is strictly for ADULTS.

You just flat out do not belong.

Good luck in the Third Grade , Junior ... don't forget to dot your " I " 's and cross your " T " 's .... and one more thing ... PISS OFF, ASSHOLE !

John - Apologies if Im out of line but you're a man of respect and I had to step in and speak my mind. As usual, Best of Luck this week.

sorry guys dont mean to get involved...........

but i dont know why this idiot is talking about kordell for anyways.how long has it been since he was the starter for pitt.?i dont remember exactly how long its been but if my memory serves me correctly maddox was the starter last year and was the starter this year till he got hurt. which maddox is also white--so i dont know where he is coming from. also what does having a white qb have to do with anything?that was honestly one of the stupidest comments ive ever heard. i guess its one thing to think it but to come on here and post that.my question is how dumb can u be?the answer--- pretty fucking dumb.just my thoughts.sorry guys i just had to give my opinion.

Here are the write ups on these games....

5 STAR: KANSAS CITY (+1) OVER Indianapolis

The Chiefs are one of the best home underdogs in the history of the NFL and it looks like these underachievers are finally starting to put it together. KC manhandled the Falcons last week to the tune of 56-10, scoring all eight touchdowns rushing against a Falcons defense that was ranked #1 in the league against the run. The Colts have some problems of their own right now. We know that the offense carries this team, but there is some tension in that offensive huddle right now, and it never a good thing when your quarterback (Manning) and wide receiver (Wayne) have to be separated on the sidelines. The Colts were very sloppy on offense, turning the ball over twice and committing an uncharacteristic 12 penalties, not the way you want to be playing when heading to Arrowhead. Indy is a soft team and the Jags proved it in their win on Sunday. The Jaguars had thrown down the gauntlet, anonymously telling a Jacksonville columnist after the first Colts-Jags game in Jacksonville that Indianapolis was "soft." The Colts, who made that column required reading during the week, responded by getting rolled in their own building. Jacksonville moved the ball at will in the second half against a Colts defense that ranks second to the last in the league in total defense, and the Jags are far from an offensive juggernaut. Kansas City will run all over the Colts defense and when they put eight in the box to stop the run they will throw on them. Tony Gonzalez should have a huge day. The question is where the Chiefs will be able to stop the Colts, and I think they will stop them enough times to get the win here. Indy has won and covered in six straight meetings with the Chiefs, but I look for that to end here. KC is 2-0 against the spread the last three seasons as a home underdog of 3 points or less. Take the points!

5 STAR: New England (-3) OVER PITTSBURGH

I think we have a lot of value with Patriots only laying a field goal in this match up with the Steelers. The Steelers are off to a very nice start at 5-1, but they have played nobody. Their five wins are against teams that are a combined 9-24. The only team that they have played that currently has a winning record is Baltimore and the Ravens beat them 30-13. I love Big Ben getting his playing time early in his career, and I think he will be a great one, but if Bill Belichick can confuse Peyton Manning, what do you think his defense will do to a rookie making only his fifth start? On the other side of the ball, the Steelers glaring weakness last season was their pass defense. The Steelers this year are ranked 6th in the league in pass defense, but don't let the numbers fool you, I am not convinced that they have corrected this problem. They have played five teams that rank in the bottom half of the league in passing offense. The two good passing teams that they played this season, Oakland and Dallas, both threw for around 300 yards. With all the weapons the Pats have on offense, I could see Brady for 350 to 400 yards in this game. The Steelers had a bye week to get ready for this game, but I think this bye could be a momentum killer for the Steelers who won straight up on the road at Dallas prior to their bye. The line set on this game does not favor the Steelers either, as they are only 3-7 against the spread the last three seasons in games where the line is -3 to +3 and they are 0-6 against the spread in home games the last three seasons when the total is between 42.5 and 49. Lay the points with the Pats here!
                Good luck,
                John

                      Added.....

This is my third play for week eight. I'm still looking at one more play that I might add later in the week.

3 STAR: BUFFALO (-3) OVER Arizona

The Cards are coming off of a big home win against the Seahawks last week, but I don't look for them to pull off the win here. The Bills are having a terrible season as they are only 1-5 on the season but they have a favorable match up here against Arizona. Buffalo has a solid defense that should do a good job a stuffing the run and forcing Josh McCown and his 86.9 QB rating to beat them. I don't see that happening, the Arizona offense really struggles on the road and the Bills defense plays even better at home. On the other side of the ball, the Bills offense has struggled, especially in the passing game due to the play of Drew Bledsoe. Bledsoe has been terrible, but he should not have to do too much in the game. Buffalo should be able to pound the Cardinals on the ground with Henry and McGahee. The Arizona rushing defense is horrible on the road where they allow over 140 yards rushing per game at a clip of almost 5.5 yards per carry. This will set up Bledsoe with some easy play action passes. I always like playing against teams from the West that are playing an early game on the east coast as they have been good "go against" plays the last few seasons and the Cardinals are just 5-14 against the spread in their last 19 road games and they only 1-8 against the spread versus non conference opponents. Lay the points here!
                      Good luck,
                      John

Can't Ageed with the N.E Pick

But I'm not going to be the one to bet they don't win 22 in a row.

Really like the Chiefs and Really Really like Buffalo. Scary to like a team like Buffalo that much.

Well said CoverBoy, You beat me too it and I don't think I could have said it better.

                              GL this weekend EZ.
Hard to use the argument that the Steelers haven't played anybody, when really neither has NE. They played Indy at home, won by 3, and the Jets last week, won by 6 in a low scoring 13-7 game.
