A 2-1 day yesterday, this is my play for Monday night.........
1 STAR: Denver (-6.5) OVER CINCINNATI
I really wanted to find a reason to take the Bengals tonight, but unfortunately I could not. I really hate being on such a public play like the Broncos are tonight, but every match up points to a Denver win and cover. Denver has the #1 rushing offense in the league, while Cincinnati has the worst run defense in the league. The Bengals offense is struggling with Carson Palmer at the helm and the Broncos have the #1 defense in the league. These two teams meet last year in Cincinnati with Denver winning 30-10 as a six point favorite, despite 3 interceptions by Jake Plummer. The Broncos forced the Bengals into 4 turnovers of their own and ran up 184 yards rushing on 40 attempts. Look for more of the same in this match up. Cincinnati is only 0-8-1 against the spread in their last nine games going back to last season. Lay the points!
2004 NFL RECORD
10 STAR RECORD 0-1 (-11.0 UNITS)
5 STAR RECORD 2-7-1 (-29.0 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 6-5-1 (+1.5 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 10-10 (-2.0 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 6-3 (+2.7 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 24-26-2 (-37.8 UNITS)
A $100 player would be down $3780
