Congratulations to the Red Sox and their fans! So close to being eliminated in games four and five, but they never gave up and hung in there to their credit.
Coverboy-You can probably relate to this:I was in attendance for game 7 of WS between Sox and the Big Red Machine at Fenway in 1975.
Let me tell you-there is no worse feeling than seeing the other team celebrate a game 7 win on YOUR field.
Well, tonight even though I was not in attendance and merely watching the game on tv, the feeling is reversed-defeating the hated Yankees on their turf.
As Jackie Gleason would say-"How sweet it is!!!!"
Maybe Phil Steel will even take time out tomorrow and devote a few seconds of his 5 minutes to congratulate the Sox.
In actuality, I think there is a better chance of a C5 flying out of my cat's butthole than that happening.
Homer - I'm checking the lines for tomorrow's Houston - St. louis game and I see the Cards are ONLY -120 or so across the board... AT HOME !!! 7th GAME !!! Best record in MLB !!!
This leads me to believe Houston is the side here. ( I love linesmakers )
