I am watching this game with my heart pounding even though they now have a six run lead in the 8th inning.
Perhaps that is what is expected when you(in this case me) are a diehard Sox fan for 52 years and always fear the worst thing will happen.

To finally end this curse, should they make the World Series, how about a list of who throws out the 1st ball at Fenway.

            My choice:

            Bob Stanley

                    26 years

I can now put to rest October 2, 1978. This makes up for "the choke" and collapse of the Sox that year. That collapse dwarfs in comparison to this

                    This so sooooo sweet

Who would have thought the Yankees with the $187 Million payroll would be the 1st and only team in history to blow a 3-0 lead with games 6 & 7 in N.Y. WOW!

No matter what happens in the World Series it won't be anything like the last offseason............... Thank god, it was a Bi-Polar winter for me! :D

Congratulations guys but I'm going to have to switch my Avatar back to it's original form after the game.

You know Jets/Pats Sunday even though you guys might be interested in another game that day.

                        Good Luck and Congrats again.

                        Phil

The only time I was as excited about a Sox moment as this was in 1967 when Sox(coming form nowhere the year beford) won the pennant on last day of the season(no divisional winners or wildcards back then).
