This is my first posted play (I think). I'd like to thank everyone else on this forum for providing great info and plays. Also a thanks to EZ Winners as I found out about this site by visiting his site. I check this site out everyday before making any plays. I only play 1 to 5 units max (each unit is equivalent to winning $100). I don't keep records and will post occaisionally when I see something I like. Now the play...........
Boston/New York Over 10 -120 (1 unit)
It's a little warmer than yesterday at Yankee Stadium but obviously still a little cool. Temp. is 54 F and the wind is blowing in from CF at only 5 mph. Last night game time temp. was 49 F with drizzle and wind was blowing in from CF at 14 mph. You could see some of the balls staying in the park due to the wind.
Tonight, IMO the wind will not play a factor as much as yesterday. We have home plate umpire Randy Marsh who is 16-9 O/U this year and 13-1 O/U when the total is 9 runs or higher.
Brown has a sore back and Boston has hit him well this year. His last start was on Saturday pitching only 2 innings in the 19-8 Yankee victory.
Lowe's last start at Yankee Stadium was a 14-4 loss where he gave up 7 runs. Lowe's lifetime ERA at Yankee Stadium is 6.07.
2 shakey pitchers, tired bullpens and an Over ump are the reasons I'm on the Over 10. Side could go either way. But I'm hoping for a shoot-out tonight. BTW, last year's 2003 ALCS Game 7 ended 6-5 for New York with Pedro Martinez and Roger Clemens starting. I'll take the same result this time!!
I'd like to thank GD (from another site) for providing me with some of the stats above. Thanks!!
