        That's a laugh ... but you're the joke.

I saw game 5 last night at Fenway ... Well half of it anyway ... the other half was spent watching Red Sox fans with twitching eyes ... biting their nails ... hands with white knuckles clutching Rosary Beads hard enough to turn them into diamonds .... begging and pleading and praying and begging and pleading some more. Don't they know that they're seeking Divine Intervention from the same God who created the other side too ?

Fans in each city have their own unique way of expressing their longing for their team to win .... some do it in a religious way ... others in a macho bullshit way ... others sit quietly eating alfalfa sprouts and mashed yeast. Fans are equally funny as they are obnoxious. It all balances out. Fans are part of what makes sports so much fun to watch.

And you start a thread with " Yankee fans are pathetic " .... complete with silly cartoons ?

A million and one intelligent , exciting and stimulating posts to origionate and this is all you can come up with ?

Now I don't care who wins the series ... in fact it would be cool if the Red Sox defeat the Yanks. If they did then maybe the word "rivalry" would have more meaning. A Red Sox win would be kinda neat ... great for baseball ... A win would make history which is always great for any sport.

But you who claim to be in the "desert" ... ashamed to say where you live ... develope computer muscles all of a sudden and bad mouth Yankee fans after Boston ties up the series.

You probably don't have the skill and / or the sack to make it in either city.

We have 2 great franchises with passionate fans and a game 7 tomorrow which should add up to a mountain of tension, drama and fun. And whoever wins ... I'll be happy for the peeps in BC who are rooting for that team. You, my friend , will probably be under that mountain ... drunk or stoned or both ... most likely incoherent ... unable to appreciate the game for what it is. You'll be watching the game for all the wrong reasons ... and you'll miss out on the real fun of it all.

The game will be won on the field ... not with novenas and deals with Our Lord and Saviour .... He / She has far too many more important things to care about. And it certainly will not be won with New York Arrogance which can be real obnoxious as well.

Your thread is infantile and as a proud New Yorker I must step in and call you out for being the asshole that you are.

You missed your move , Pal ... You are blessed with a game 7... you had an wonderful opportunity to bring something to the table ... something worth while and meaningful ... but you chose not to think ... you chose cartoons over origional thought... you took the easy way ... the coward's way.

Enough of you already and you're hatred of New York Fans.

Best of Luck tomorrow ALL and let's enjoy what should be a great game.

Neil, your post reminded me of the Patriots Super Bowl parade. The Sox fans started chanting "Yankees Suck!".

It's comical when your team hasn't won a WS in almost 100 years while the team that "sucks" has won over 30.

Wasn't a Sox fan throwing the ball back on the field after ARods homer? I'm certain the Sox fans were laughing.

I've been rooting for the Sox in this series. I can say this! Without question the Yanks have classier players and a class organization. Damon get a f*cking haricut.

                  Its Class vs No Class

Red Sox may very well beat the Yankees again tonight, they are the better team. How they got down 3-0 is beyond me, however, they have absolutely no class.
                  Just my opinion.

                  GL tonight.

                      lmfao well said cover.

i guess a fan on landsdown street throwing a ball back into left field at fenway is ok. i think things would look a little different if manny or damon got konked off the melon by their own fan.

Truth of the matter is, it's pretty said that we need police in full riot gear at a baseball GAME. I'm assuming riots in both NY and MA tonight no matter who wins.

It's also sad that fans are ignorant enough to throw bottles and other crap on the field, not pointing at NY fans directly, b/c I know it has happened a many of times, just sad.
