How sad is the oakland franchise trading one of the all-time greats to seattle for a seventh round pick, i dont care if he is washed up or not you dont treat a icon like that i hope he catches a td every week in seattle. al davis is an a$$hole who when he dies has a one-way ticket to:angryfire hell.

I hate Al Davis, but the trade was NOT his doing. Davis, when approached by Rice's agent, about trading him, simply told Rice's people to negotitae the deal, bring it back to them and they'd try to acommodate Jerry's wishes. Being from Crawford, MS, I have always loved Rice as a player and as a man, but this was HIS wish...not that ofthe hated Black and Silver....FWIW
