Hey Cisco-you and I are in the same boat;I have been a diehard Sox fan since age 1952(age 8) ,and the last few days have had right next to me a program from the first game I ever saw at Fenway.
It was against the Tigers, and Mel Parnell pitched a 5-0 shutout and hit a triple of the wall(way before the DH).
It doesn't get better than that EXCEPT for last night and makes all the years of waiting, disappointment and frustration well worth it.

I heard an interview on the james brown show with sporting news radio about 1 pm with Buckner. He really didn't want to do the interview and it wasn't what i expected to hear. A very sad interview indeed.

I agree... AL Playoffs will be CWS,Angels,YANKS and Indians and The Red Sux will be getting a early start to their winter vacation!! Sounds great to me!! LETS GO YANKEES!!
