That was one of the worst pitching displays I've ever seen. DISGRACEFUL!

It will be a long time if ever when the Sox are favored over the Yankees again in a playoff series(it might be at least a few years before they get back in) and even longer to see them favored to win the WS.
It just goes to show how meaningless the regular season games are.
Personally I think the Yanks are more professional in their approach to winning a series like this than are the too loose Sox.
I guess my fifty two years of being a Sox diehard will go on a lot longer, as I personally don't think they will be a factor for a few years.
As much as on the Red Sox chatline some sour grapes fans are saying Yanks will lose to whoever represents the NL, I don't think so;time will tell.

Well said. It definitely, is all about how you approach the game. Whether fans want to admit it or not, Baseball is a Business. The entire Red Sox organization, needs to re-think their position.

          Regards,

            sox are a joke

Its really is sad to think that if the red sox players played the game with 1/10 the heart and desire that their loyal fans show they would easily defeat the yankees. Problem is the sox players just dont care enough. In order to win you have to want to win. The yankees do all the little intangibles that make you a winner and the red sox just dont. Enough about this lets talk reality.

Effective this winter the sox will go into a rebuilding mode. Pedro, lowe, damon, millar, manny (if someone will take him) will all be gone. Sox playroll will be slashed from 120million to around 90million. The sox will not and cannot reload like the yankees. Money for the sox is an issue. The yankees in the meantime will add C.Beltran,Pedro, and Carl Pavano. The rivalry is basically done between the 2 teams. The talent on the yankees side will be so great while the lack of talent on the sox will be mindboggleing.
TV will want to maintain the rivalry but lets face it the sox are done for atleast 3 years.

All in all, I think many sox fans dont realize that losing this year changes everything. Unlike last season where we could make upgrades this season free agents leaving and the sox having to cut payroll will deem the end of the sox chances of competing for a division title. AKA will become like the orioles. If you think I'm wrong make your case, but I can guarantee you I know what I'm talking about. I'll be sure to bump this post in march for a review.
