A little of both. I don't see Lieber with a Mussina like game by any stretch and i really think Pedro will pitch a great game. All those comments like "The Yankees are my daddy" and stuff i think were self motivating factors for Pedro. The Sox are going to stack the lineup with lefties tonight too. I think that will help. Mussina has always pitched great in big games against Boston (as i mentioned in wiz's thread yesterday) but Lieber has not had many chances to pitch in a big game before. He might pitch a great game but this match up has to be an advantage for Boston considering what's on tap in the next few games.

Do you know what that Virtual NHL is? My book has lines for tonight. How do they even decide winners and losers?

Homer i did see that question but it confused me. I know today was going to be the 1st day of the NHL Season but i have no idea what you are talking about. Could you really win or lose money on something like that? I have no clue what it is and i would stay away from it.

I started out with a bad team that i thought looked good. The last couple weeks i've straightened that out and done very well. I try to build a big bankroll in those league's and i think my team is the highest valued right now. The problem with that is it's great in the other major sports where there are alot more games and your big bankroll starts taking over. In football it's like having 17 days to win or lose the league. A bad start like i had pretty much killed me to the point of the money not mattering much. It's sad to say but with only about 12 days of points left, i think i'm toast! :D

Homer where the hell would they get a result for the wager??? It just makes no sense. The only thing i could think of is it might be the AHL teams of the parent club?? That league is starting. :confused:
