Chalkeater, thats why offshore betting is so big. Not just the
convenience, but fairness. I use to bet thru a local guy that if you tied on a over/under, the bet was a loser. Screw that guy. I'll
bet offshore or thru a local guy that has the same rules as Vegas
only. I think you might be mad on Monday, Atlanta and Cleveland
looked like very good plays to me today. Get it back on Monday.
I'm shaking my toaster for croutons right now for my salad for

I've got four offshore books for the fairness and convenience. I do have a local guy, and compared to other local books, he's a dream. His parlay odds are horrible (2 to 1 on a two teamer, for example), but I almost never parlay. If I do, I go offshore. He only does football full time (along with NBA Playoffs), but he's open 1.5 hours before gametime every time. He pays to the dollar every time. Buying a half point is ALWAYS -120 even on or off 3. He drops the 1/2 point on teasers, meaning if a line is 7.5, it's really 7 for teasing purposes, meaning you can get it down to minus 1 with just 11/10. AND A PUSH IS A PUSH! Two years ago I put a bet on Wash St. on a Thursday (that's the earliest you can put weekend action down), and an hour later I'm looking at CNNSI.com and find that their star RB is DOUBTFUL! All of the sudden, I'm not so sure of my bet. I call to even some of the action out with a little bet against myself, and he tells me not to worry, he'll cut down my original wager since no other action had come in on the game. WOW! I am very lucky though. Most locals are dicks....

You guys think you got it tough. My local guy got busted 3 years ago. He was a dumb ass and always gave me extra money cuz he couldn't add. Since then, I have used offshore accounts and if I need to bet more than I have in there or don't want the wife to know, I have to use mbates brother-in-law. It's all fun when he is winning, but a real ass when he is losing.
