Haven't read any of this thread...

What does this have to do with sports?

It says "All Sports Discussion" on the top of my page????
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

I can't believe anyone would take Rush Limbaugh seriously;he is arrogant, a bigot, self-serving and is filled with actual hatred for Kerry and all liberals.
In addition, how can anyone believe someone who is hypociritical enough to criticize and scorn drug users while at the same same time PURCHASING and USING ILLEGAL drugs HIMSELF.
Let us not forgot that this "omniscient" expert on virtually everything can't even maintain a relationship with a woman and is going through his 4th divorce;yeah he is a "great" guy to listen to all riight.

Why did you bump it back up? Everyone can read HUNG, I already conceded that it was posted accidently in the wrong thread. Why did you post?

For all Rush's personal hang ups, my guess is people listen to him for his material. No doubt it's biased a bit, but when he shows tapes and videos of lies and contradictions, I think that appeals to people.

He's been criticized long before his personal probs came to the forefront. He can prove in real fact, space, and time, that when you add 2 +2 it does indeed equal, well, four. For some reasons that just rubs people the wrong way because he exposes lies. The only way they can react is to go on the offensive and start name-calling, which merely reveals their own shortcomings.

The thing that I do not like about Rush is that he does not seem to apply the same standard to the Right; only to the left. Also, while I wasn't a real big Clinton fan, I did not appreciate the fact that the Rush's entire show was founded on constantly bashing the Prez. I dont mind alternative media exposing lies, but at some point the constant bashing seems irreverent.

And if he's gonna expose lies, then let's not be hypocrites. The Bush family legacy is one that is full of anti-American history--if you can believe that. They are a VERY powerful family with international ties that boggle the mind dating waaaaaay back.

2 things every republican must remember.
If Bush gets back in who will you blame all our countrys problems on....Rules are only the prez who just got out of office can be bpamed...Thats Billy Boy.....
It has ben proven the Ronnie Boy trickel down affects dont work.....As you give the rich more money he will only put it in his pocket and smile....
If A Rich man wants something he buys it...After all he is rich and has the money...
Any one who listens to Rush must be a lost person...This bum can tell you all about how low a Druggie is....But it is not his fault he is one....

Kerry got fucked once the questions involved abortion. He couldn't answer anything definitively and it looked like he was trying help from the audience. That's another thing too, a catholic that's pro abortion. Oh the irony!
The 1927 Yankees weren't the best team ever. What everyone fails to realize is that the year before, with the exact same team, they lost to the Cardinals in the World Series.

Dude I'm an economics major and trust me the tricke down effect works a lot better than pump prime, or giving tax cuts to the poor. The richer you are the more likely you are to blow the extra money on the economy, whereas the poor will use it to pay off their debt or buy drugs, which unfortunately doesn't help the economy. Just thought you should learn something before you went to bed.

Warrior-I will stand by my statement that Rush is a racist and does not care for minority groups.
On several occasiosn, I heard him utter during the second or third hour of his program, "Well I guess welfare recipients are just waking up."
Listen to the derogatory way he says Reverend Jackson's name;he stated he is trying to impersonate the way William Buckley has said the name;maybe this is so, but I think more likely it shows what he thinks of Blacks and other minority groups.
He ought to recognize lying, because that is what HE is re: his illegal drug use and procurement until he was forced to admit it.
ps Fahrenheit 911 and John Dean's book, Worse Than Watergate say a lot about this administration.

Other factors include the capture of Bin Laden. If the polls are close in late October, will be caught

The first correct statement made tonight.

let me correct this there were many correct statements made but i have the feeling Bush will pull osama out of the hole hes been keeping him in in the next two weeks.Bush will win again without the popular vote.

Yeah your taxes wont be raised at all in the next four years to support his popular war he is carrying on now. Record deficits, record shortfalls and you think your taxes are going to be dramatically lowered, ok. Record spending in his administration and who do you think is going to pay for it? How much money has been spent on Iraq? Get fuckn real!

                        savage,

You may be right...I really don't know. I use to listen to Rush in '92 and '93, but the CONSTANT bashing got old to me so I haven't listened in years.

                        muscleman,

That's a pretty bold assertion since is insinuates that no one else made a correct statement. But I do agree...I think Bush Wins (like it or not).

John Dean's book can be trusted in my opinion.

Three and a half week's until election and I'm still up in the air...might have to flip a coin...

That line has dropped quite a bit; about a week ago, Bush was around a 270 favorite.
