Wiz you almost gave me a heart attack when I saw DB wise guy move on Yanks. Those plays have been incredible. You did make a great point. Why the F is the best pitcher in baseball only -105 especially when last week he embarrassed the Yanks for the lil he played and the game before that he beat the Yanks easily. Maybe it was a gift the oddsmakers messed up? But, thanks for pointing that out cause you know next time Johan has to have higher odds and people will still ride his jock. Last night was weird though. People rode his jock, but there were still Yank money out there. But, the late money move to the Yanks was definitely wise guys putting hefty action on Yanks. Lets take this win and move on. Thanks and Im glad I got scared late. I dont think we will ever see Santana at a pick em ever again this post season LOL. Oddsmakers must feel like fools for that one.

          ez

dont know if youve been around but weve all had this conversation time and time again and it actually aired on ESPN. Lines are NEVER set to get one sided action. Look at all the Monday Night Football games. Wiz will be the first to tell you that the public is killing the books on Monday Nights. Look at Chiefs getting a whopping 6 points? The line went as far down as to 3.5 and 4 at some spots before kickoff and Chiefs still beat them. Week before the Redskins were a favored over the Cowboys when the Cowboys have beaten them 14 of last 15 and covering the spread everytime? You don't think the line makers made a mistake only setting Eagles as a 3 point favorite versus the Vikings at home on Monday Night and the whole world took the Eagles and won. It's all a coincidence. When public wins no one talks about it, bt when they lose everyone shouts "eureka eureka" as if they have Vegas figured out. Vegas makes mistakes on lines as well. The reason they win is cause they dont gamble and we do. Cause if theyre losing one game, theyre winning another game some place else. The world took Schilling and the Mighty Cards as the MOST POPULAR parlay yesterday and they won because people love to parlay the big favorites to kill the juice. The Yanks-Twin game was split as my local who is in New jersey had plenty of Twin action. Who wouldnt take the best pitcher in baseball at such a cheap price. All 3 opening favorites won last night. So trust me, the sports books took it on the chin especially with the Sox and Card parlays, but unlike bookies casinos can take hits in sports as sports gambling is less than 1% of a casinos revenue. A casino is much more worried about slots and high roller table games thans a few guys betting on a baseball game.

I wish this suject would rest already. Enough of trying to figure ot what Vegas thinks and does. id you guys ever think maybe they REALLY DO MAKE LINES TO GET EVEN ACTION PERIOD. Why does everyone always think someone is trying to burn them with fixes or vegas playing head games. This board has become on how to get in the minds of vegas. No one can and no one will. Best thing to do is to go back to capping. Twins won cause they ave the best pitcher in the world right now. Vegas had a pretty high opening line for a game that involves Santana and Moose at a total of 8. Did they want Under money? Well they sure got it and got kiled cuse game ended under by a mile and Vegas even brought the line down to 7. Im just saying this so all the newbies dont get lazy and stray away from capping and thinking its easy as all you have to do is fade and dont work hard at it. Anyone notice why Homer and Wayne are always consistently winning? Hmmm maybe cause they actually cap the games instead of asking a bunch of Joe Smiths who you like and going the other way
