1* Notre Dame +3 (-115)
Purdue hasn't won in South Bend in last 13 tries. Wrong team favored today. While Purdue is a legitimate Big Ten contender, ND is most underrated team in country with everyone still overreacting to opening week loss to decent BYU team. Since then, ND dominated Michigan and Michigan State and annihilated Washington. These two teams normally play low scoring games but this should be a wild shootout.
1* San Diego State +6
I admit to being a bit shaky on this pick not knowing how SD State will react to its near miss versus Michigan. But I do think they are the better team here. UCLA still a mystery while SD has a balanced offense and top defense. Major coaching edge to SDS with Craft against Dorrell.
1* Army OVER 58 1/2
At some point Army Coach Ross, one of the best in the business, will fix Army's atrocious defense but why assume it will be this week. TCU probably good for at least 40 and Army's offense is showing signs of life and TCU's defense is shaky.
1* Mississippi -17 1/2
Great situation. Normally an SEC school would be flat against a school like Arkansas State but not this week. Mississippi is still winless and desperately needs a breakout game. Ark State should pay the price. Unless Mississippi is even worse than they've played, they should win by at least 30. If they don't, look to go against them every week but this game should be a cakewalk.
