I don't live in Vegas but go 2-3 times a year.
I don't know about night spots other then the place in the Palms (I can't remember the name)
Treasure Island I believe opened a new night club since I went last.

Places to eat and gamble that I can help with.
9 the steak house in the palms is awsome.
Vasuvios in th rio has good seafood.
Stage Deli in the **** at Caesars and Capostranos (off the strip) for a steak and cheese.

i lived here 8 years almost. have bc send u my email, and ill fill u in on all the best i can. bottom line- clubs are clubs here, and there are a ton of them. it depends, really on what u would like. actually all the clubs/casinos are, in the purest form the same. what makes them different are the themes they potray, and other little details... but there a ton of girls everywhere, no shortage of that.
so places to eat...
what kind of food?

my fav clubs/lounges...
voodoo lounge- just an incredible view of the city usually accompained by a kickin live band
ghost bar- this is the palms version of it, again, great view.

my opinion on the shows here is that "mystere" is by FAR the best. ive seen everyhting except for danny gans and the cirque show at new york.

ever been to or by the famed area 51?- if wanted i have details on that and other close by places u seldom hear about, or wouldn't see advertised on a brochure they hand out. the brochures advertise other "things," and if u walk anywhere on the strip, you'll definately get one.
if you are in decent shape, there are awesome hiking trails all around.

Best high end bar to spend a fortune in and stare at gorgeous women in the middle of the night: Light at Bellagio.

Most amazing scene: the nightclub at Mandalay Bay

Best sports and race book: Bellagio

Best place to spot a celebrity: Ghostbar at Palms

Likeliest place to blow all your money and regret it: any downtown strip joint.

have been many times and am moving there shortly. Jan 05.

The last time i was out there this is what i recommend:
Old School - Michaels at the Barbary Coast - High end mafia shit
Steaks - Delmonico's Venetian - freaking fantastic but bring your checkbook. $$$$$
Strips - Classy - Treasures - (ask for Hunter, tell her you are a friend of snappy's) she is a close friend, a local and loves to party and have a good time. BElieve it or not she is actually like a sister...we go way back...used to hang out in OHIO. PS - there is a broad named phoenix that looks like jillian barbery, i highly recommend hooking up a few lies with her.
Strips - The best i have seen thus far is Spearmint Rhino. Appatantly cheetah's and the horse have gotten busted and all the hizzoes from those joints have taken over the rhino. we had a blast at the rhino.
Clubs - the new club at TI is ok. Tangerine. The staff is must better than the clientele. we had to juice the bouncer so cash...the lines were nuts.
Light at BElliago - described perfectly above in another thread.
Rain - Waste of time and money
Ghost Bar - 12 bucks for a H20 but very cool
There is also a new place at the HArd Rock that Hunter raves about.

treasures just went out of business due to prostitution. when they opened they told the licensing board that if they ever once caught any dancer soliciting they would volunteeraliry surender their liquor license. well, the board took'em up on thier promise.
