Santana will only pitch, at the most, 5 innings today. "Even if the score is 0-0, we're taking him out" said pitching coach Rick Anderson. Trying to get him ready for the postseason and he has pitched a career high 232 innings.

These late season games can burn you so wanted to make sure everyone knew, hope it helps.

I loaded up on this game myself. The game pretty much played out the way I thought it would. I would never have bet against Santana if I didn't know he was only going 5 innings.

I have a few contacts here in Minneapolis also although this was in the paper. Will keep posting
