  • Bashing

I hate to bring reality, but 99.9% of gamblers have more bad days than good days. So, when someone has a bad day or even if a service has a bad day STOP THE BASHING ALREADY. As if before you came to BC you were kicking the bookies ass. I remember when a service lost a GOY and there was a 4 page thread. Who cares because NONE of you even played the game. Now after the Miami-Pittsburgh game jerk off come out and act as if they never lose themselves. The truth is EVERY single person that has ever come to BC came here for tips and to learn and that INCLUDES the most seasoned cappers in here as well. You come to a forum for learning and then you start sharing your own insights. No one decides to come to a forum after they've been kicking ass. So you are here because you were losing at some point and wanted to get outside opinions and that includes every single registered poster here. So don't come in here after posters lose and start bashing them as if you were a winner before BC. Don't kid yourselves. Everyone loses and everyone can be fooled in gambling. Why? Because gambling is for fools like myself. That's why you do this for fun. Even the lines makers look like fools. Geeze they had the Dolphins a favorite. Need I say more? So don't come bashing around as if you can beat the number yourself. No one beats the number over the long haul. Try to take your shots at making a lil pocket change and have giggles along the way. If you thought and sill think you can make a living doing this over the long haul then you're a fool and do it yourself and don't follow anyone that you're gonna bash anyway.

I agree with MOST of what you said.........HOWEVER, people CAN and DO win over the long haul, and some do this for a living.

I can guarantee you that I win over the long haul. Not to blow my own horn here, but I have proof that it can be done......

you are very correct about the rest of it though.

    RULE OF THUMB:

If something seems to easy, or too good to be true...IT IS!!!!

    Examples:

Virginia - the whole world loved 'em. They didn't cover.

Green Bay- Everyone's GOY. Why did the line go from Indy -5.5 to -6.5????? They got whipped.

Miami- They don't even have an offense.

    Minny - BACKDOORED!!!!

Just 4 small examples of how people THINK the game is so easy, but end up getting burned by the outcome.

Rjeremy for every example you give I can give one back

Last week Eagles looked to easy on Monday Night and won

Raiders looked to easy last night versus sorry ass Bucs and won

Steelers looked like the easiet game ever and so did the under in that game and they BOTH WON

Didn't Baltimore look to easy or the Eagles even look easier and they both won

I don't believe in traps. If they "do" exist then there has to be such a thing as a an opposite trap. In other words people that try to outhink Vegas and think its a trap so they go against the obvious and they get trapped betting on the inferior team versus the spread. So I guess for everytime you find a trap you can still be on the wrong side of a trap. This is what Vegas loves the most when people leave capping alone and get caught up with trying to get in Vegas's heads. They want people to believe in traps, fades and all other jargons, because if Vegas fears anything it is an educated capper. Did you watch the HBO special on gambling last year on Real Sports? They were showing how lines are made, etc. The lines came out and they called some sharp players to see who they'd take. Every sharp player jumped with the obvious bet and with the heavy public choice with the Panthers versus the Cowboys in last years first round playoffs. The one sharp player said, "you guys are out of your minds for thinking Dallas will play competive. You guys need a bigger spread on the Panthers" needless to say the Panthers blew out the Boys and the lines makers were way off. Remember the lines makers are paid by the casinos to do a great job and the linesmakers don't want to risk losing their accounts by constantly drawing uneven action, so thats why I dont believe in traps. A great lines maker knows how to make a case on both sides of the coin and trust me they love the world of the internet because faders have made life so much easier for them as now there are just as many faders as there are public

        My opinion is this:

Vegas makes lines to get even play. Nothing more nothing else. It's what the Public thinks and puts action on either side. That moves the line or makes you think its a trap or reverse Trap.

Lines makers want even play so they win off the Juice. Believe what you will but to me thats the truth. Public wins on the average 50 to 40 %..... They win some they lose some. End of story.

It's all about knowing the rightside to play if public is on it or not. Really doesn't matter.

NFL in my eyes is a super hard sport to CAP. Thats why I only play one game a week. Has been doing well for me this year.

        GL in the future.
