Early college game

Won my college football post last week with the Gophers and here is my early game pick:

Purdue (-21) Illinois is 7-17 ATS as home underdogs under Coach Turner and last year went 0-4 ATS as home dogs. Illinois is 1-9 ATS last 10 games going back to last year. Kyle Orton for Purdue has been great completing almost 70% of passes with 9 TDs and no ints. Purdue had 1,170 yards of offense in 2 games this year and Illinois had to come back against Western Michigan to win at home, not very impressive!

Adding night college game

I thought Purdue was suppose to contend for the Big 10 title, after seeing them give up 30 to Illinois, don't have to worry about them anymore. I like the following game tonight, was waiting for line to drop below 14.

Gophers (-13.5) Gophers running duo of Barber & Maroney are going to run wild against a banged up Northwestern defensive line. Starting QB Cupito is fine after leaving last weeks game against Colorado St. Just remember, TCU lite up Northwestern for 48 points in week one, what will the high power Gophers put up tonight?
