Wayne, just a quick ?....with all do repsect, why such a big play on the Cubs? I am a die hard fan, in Chicago, and this team just scares me right now, especially against a good lefty like Perez. They hit one night, and not the next.....just curious because I follow your plays???

I actually use a little reverse action here. The Cubs have not played great lately against Pitchers they should beat. I don't know if they are not up to it or what but i believe a better pitcher actually will bring them into focus. I heard Nomar might play tonight and if he does it would be an added bonus. Him just being in the lineup changes the whole game. If he's not i still like them in this spot, especially coming off an emotional win in extra innings last night. It's now or never and i believe last night was a springboard into something good!

Sosa is 6-9 (.667) in his career against Perez too.

Perez is (1-2) with an ERA of 5.40 against the Cubs.

Zambrano is (4-2) with an ERA of 3.66 against the Pirates.


I guess what i'm trying to say is i like the Cubbies tonight!
