Counting down to this weekend...
I've been waiting all season LONG for this game. Brodie or no Brodie, the Crimson Tide will get the job done this weekend.
I will make an important statement before going further: I CAN'T play this game because it's my home team, and it goes against my rules for placing wagers (emotion).
Our backup quarterback is STRONG. He's a University of Miami (FLA) transfer and he's pushed Brodie (our opening day starter) in the off-season - actually made him a better player and made him learn Shula's system.
The freshmen wideouts will have a BIG game and the typical slobberknocker between the Tide/Hogs will come down to who can open up the vertical passing game better. We've got MUCH more talent at WR and a better O-line.
When I saw that Alabama was getting five points I just about crapped myself. Bama should and WILL win this game.
Like I said earlier, I CAN'T play this game (if we lose ATS/SU it hurts doubly as bad), but if I could, I'd be happy with:
